Movement... We will be introducing basic body movements to enable you to create your own “Body Prayer”. Just like learning to play an instrument, you must first learn the notes. After becoming familiar with the notes, you are ready to create your own music. Body Prayer arises from inspiration in contrast to a rote or guided exercise routine. All levels of mobility will be welcome and accommodated.
Meditation...The deepest intention of Meditation is to create space for Spirit to move freely within us, creating a space between our automatic thoughts and emotions and the place of Oneness that we find in our True Self. Connecting a visualized meditation to the part of the Body Prayer that is the focus for the week offers a deeper integration of the body, mind, and Spirit.
Mandalas....Mandalas are a symbolic expression of a spiritual experience. They are part of a practice that opens us to "Imaginal Knowing". This level of knowing allows the unconscious to surface to the conscious level, freeing the flow of Spirit even more. Whatever arises during the movement and meditation can be created in the Mandala. This final part of the class offers a deeper integration of body, mind, heart, and Spirit.
