LOVE YOURSELF, HEAL THE WORLD SPRING RETREAT May 6-7
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No not just for some but for everyone.
This year our spring retreat was held at St. Crispin's Conference Center located on 450 acres of rolling, oak-covered hills within easy driving distance from Edmond and Oklahoma City. Quiet walking trails and clear lakes convey a felt sense of peacefulness, stillness and serenity.
What a wonderful retreat, so full of presence and love. We not only learned ways of loving ourselves but also in seeing the Divine Love in each other. Sixteen beautiful women who didn't know each other, experienced community and oneness. We mirrored to each other our eternal loveliness. We left not wanting to leave but knowing we would meet again. I do so love these times of deeper connections! Renee Brunette
The spring retreat was wonderful. I had been out of town the previous week and really didn’t want to be gone from home again, but had committed to the retreat. Once I got to the retreat, I made the decision to open my heart up fully to the weekend and let the weekend unfold freely. I am so grateful I did. I loved the way Janet and Renee lead the group. They allowed everything to unfold in whatever direction it appeared and their openness set the tone for other’s openness. The theme was about loving ourselves, but the way it was taught left so much room for the Truth inside each of us to show up. I loved the way that we were told that they didn’t have any answers for us, but that the answers would be found within. Time was given for each of us to process what loving ourselves might be and to listen for our truth. There were no expectations given and each person was allowed the freedom to let whatever truth was within her to unfold. The song “I Will Be Gentle With Myself, fit the theme for the weekend. My favorite verse in the song said, “I will only go as fast as the slowest part of me feels safe to go”. This was the permission each lady was given and it was beautiful, gentle, and real. I left the retreat full and the truths that were revealed within me have remained. It wasn’t just an enjoyable time, but the truth that the Voice within me spoke will stay with me always. Travel to Retreat
The retreat center is about one hour twenty minutes from downtown Edmond. Most likely there will be people leaving from Conversations after Friday's Deeper Connections. The theme for Deeper Connections will coincide with our retreat and enhance our time of reflection and sharing.
Upon arriving Friday afternoon you will have personal time to enjoy nature, walk the trails and Labyrinth. We will eat dinner around 6:30 and have our first group session after dinner. If you have questions or need more information, email Renee at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 405 844-2525.
We hope you can come!
