Since ancient times all wise cultures have known the value of retreat.
Time in retreat allows us to step out of the
complexity of our life,
to listen deeply to our body, heart and mind.
The TBC Board invited the community to come on retreat with us. Together, we had the opportunity to experience our oneness with God, nature, and one another. We had a sweet time together as we slowed down to hear and experience His voice of Love.
November 7th & 8th 2015
Saturday 9:00 am - Sunday 4:00 pm
We got to stay in cabins with three glass walls
Enjoyed the natural beauty of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area
Spent time connecting with God through nature
Walked the trails around Sulphur Springs
Participated in contemplative sharing, prayer, and worship. Yoga on the dock.
Relaxed, connected, laughed and had tons of fun having dinner at Artesian Restaurant in Sulphur.
Some of us extended our retreat by arriving on Friday afternoon. This allowed us more personal time to settle in, enjoy quite and solitude, and explore the grounds.
It was truly a beautiful weekend and a deeply reflective time for us. Thank you Papa.
